Rebuilding Entourage Database

How to rebuild Entourage database

• Double click the software icon to start Stellar Phoenix Entourage Repair. By default, the 'Select Entourage Database File' dialog box gets opened, where the default location of the Entourage database file has been selected as default.
• If you want to select an Entourage database file from a different location, click the 'Browse' button.



• As you click the 'Browse' button, the open dialog box with the name 'Select Entourage Database File' opens. Just select the database file, you want to repair and click the 'Open' button.

 



 

• Now, the path of the selected Entourage database file can be seen in the 'Select Entourage Database File' dialog box. In order to start Entourage database recovery, click the START button, which initiates the scanning process. After this, a process progress dialog box will be displayed to indicate that the process of fixing Entourage database is on.
• After completion of the scanning process, a message box with the summary of the file scanned will be displayed. Click the 'Close' button to close the message box.
• Preview: By default, the repaired mail folders are displayed in a three-pane window. Alternately, you can click on the 'Mail' icon from tool bar to preview the repaired mails. The left pane shows all the mail folders. The middle pane shows the items present in the selected folder and the right pane shows the content of the item selected from the middle pane.

 



 

• Save File: In order to save the repaired Entourage database file, from the main window of 'Stellar Phoenix Entourage Repair' go to the menu bar and click on the 'File' and then, on 'Save repaired file'.

 



 

• View Log Report: After completion of the process of rebuilding Entourage database, the software generates a detailed log report of the entire Entourage database recovery and you can view it by clicking on the 'Tools' and then, on 'View Log report' from the Menu bar.

 



 

• Import: Finally, you can import the repaired database file into the MS Entourage to view and use the recovered mail components.
• For this, start the MS Entourage and click on the option, 'Import' from the 'File' menu.
• Under the 'Import' option, select the 'Begin Import' and then, select the option, 'Entourage information from an archive or earlier version' and click on the 'Next'.
• Select the option, 'Entourage Archive' (.rge) and click on the 'Next'.
• Select the path of the particular repaired Entourage file and click on the 'Import'.
• Click 'Done' when the process completes.
